This is not a bus station. This is just a place where buses stop. There is no station to speak of. No ATM, no indoor seating, no public restroom, and the one person I could get look up from their monitor to give me information told me that tickets are cash-only and paid for on the buses. Can't pay with card on-site, can't book in advance online. Hugely inconvenient for travelers that don't carry cash and extremely limited conveyance out of area.
Pros: Usually staffed, secure & much safer to wait for a bus than, say, the Brattleboro Transportation Center in Brattleboro. Not a ton of hooliganism or panhandling here, although it's in a sketchy neighborhood. Most staff are friendly. WiFi is available. A vending machine also carries some snack food but no beverages.
Cons: No public restrooms, no ATM machine, very limited & cramped indoor seating, cash or check only accepted for payment on local GMCN bus passes, not to mention their fare collection system is highly antiquated (bus drivers punch holes in a pass instead of riders inserting/swiping them on a normal fare box, very similar to MVRTD "the Bus" fare collection system in Rutland). You also can't buy Vermont Translines/Greyhound bus tickets here. Non-functional departure board. Front door lacks handicapped push buttons making mobility for such people difficult when going in & out.
