Awe inspiring monument rivaling the Washington monument. Must visit this during Spring Summer or Fall to get inside. Elevator is open only during season. Check with Vermont parks site to see opening and close dates. You can walk around the outside all year long though.
It is tall! And the view from the top is great. If you driving nearby worth the stop.
Tallest building in Vermont and built in the 1800's! LOL really neat thing to see when going to Vermont. friendly and informative staff will answer all of your questions about the place, it has a pretty cool history!
There is not much to see in the monument. But the view from the top is absolutely beautiful. Well worth the $5.00 to go to the top. Employees are all very friendly and the gift shop in nice. Bennington is a very nice place to visit.
The views are beautiful. Alan, the elevator operator, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! It was a nice experience worth the 5 dollars.
