I ordered a Mexican Omelet. It was very tasty and served up fast. The toast was buttered a little too-heavily for my taste.
LOVE the Blue Benn! It's a favorite for our family. Always huge portions and great prices. Friendly and helpful. Also accommodating of space with our 7 month old twins. Definitely a place to stop if you're looking for a huge assortment of great food.
I had a spinach and mushroom omelet with sour dough bread and my husband had a veggie scramble. The food was extremely greasy and toast was loaded with butter. Spinach in omelet had absolutely no taste and the eggs was overcooked to the point it was extremely try. We didn't even eat half our food. We absolutely regretted not going to our usual spot at Papa Pete's which for me has the best tasting spinach and mushroom omelet I've ever had in my life.

Excellent food had too wait for a seat so it was worth it. Will I return darn right we will .friendly staff and home made food who wouldn't return. Thank you for good old fashion service with a big smile.
The interior of the diner was a curious environment. The rounded ceiling and and long narrow dimensions of the space made it feel something like the inside of a bus. It had a retro feel, with little coin-operated jukeboxes at each table. My friend and I got a kick out of subjecting the other diners to some god-awful Sesame Street song titled "I Love Trash". It was well worth the 50 cents.
My husband and I decided to have breakfast here because we've been coming to Vermont and never ate at the famous Blue Benn diner. The atmosphere was homely and comfortable, we didn't have to wait very long for a seat, our server was very attentive and wonderful, price was great.
This little gem is nestled on Rte 7 in Bennington, VT. It's a tiny little diner with a million items on the menu. I love their chicken croquettes, but all the meals are very good. You might have to wait to be seated, but it's worth it.
My friend and I planned to go hiking right after breakfast, and we asked our waitress if she could pack us up some trail-worthy lunches. She was happy to help. We enjoyed these lunches later in the day (I got the Ranch Chicken Wrap), and they were just as good as breakfast. The potato chips got a little soggy, though.
